In many cases, the boldness, arrogance of the defector, is repulsive, abusive and totally destructive to the unity of a family, because it is a constant hurt, stigma, disappointment.

It is not a case of self-righteousness on the part of the family, but it is amazing to find how much hurt, concern, extra responsibility and even abuse occurs by the defector’s demands.

Physical problems would be attended to in a thorough way, but moral problems too often are allowed, so as to not cause the wrongdoer to become irate, defensive, and leave the family.
