“I AM THE LORD THY GOD;
THOU SHALT NOT HAVE
strange gods BEFORE ME”
“False images that basically are either humanistic in origin or used as an idol that has no power of Divine Origin, or based on humanistic values, monetary, and/or false in virtues and of demonic origin.
Many who place more importance on materialism and/or wanting to be idolized by men, women and even children, thus ‘feeling the need to have others see them as above all others, indestructible and heroic, superior in specific ways, also above reproach’.
This Commandment warns mankind that God Alone is The Creator, and Judge, and ‘Above all things’, and that mankind is subject to ‘His Will’ in and on all things moral and immoral.
False idols, humanism, must never be placed or established above What God Is or Stands For, because NO ONE OR NOTHING IS SUPERIOR IN ANY FACET OF KNOWLEDGE, AND/OR POWER OF THE CREATOR — GOD.”
