Investigation by the Sacred Congregation for the Causes of Saints

Father Sylvio Masante was sent by the Delegate of Causes of Saints, Cardinal Luigi Raimondi, to investigate The Miracle Of Saint Joseph. Posing as a journalist for The Vatican newspaper "L'Osservatore Romano", Father Masante was completely unnerved when (without prior knowledge), she told him that he was a "spy for The Vatican". From their first meeting, he believed she was a True Mystic. Over the months, he met with her on many occasions and personally traveled to Rome with her. He arranged for her to meet Cardinal Raimondi, and other Cardinals as well. Father Masante was the first to warn her of the danger she was in because of what was coming through her.
