“Some time back, men decided to refer to The Holy Ghost in a more casual way, replacing the word ‘Ghost’ with ‘Spirit’. The next step was many times eliminating the prefix word ‘Holy’. They refer to The Spirit of God in a manner and way that they would refer to the spirit of anything or anyone.
It has become so general that in many ways it is dangerous. The Holy Spirit of God is The Holy Spirit that all evil spirits hate and yet try to imitate, because satan knows the Power, the Purity, the Greatness of The Holy Spirit of God. He has worked countless years to encourage man to diminish this Very Important Part of God, and knowing man’s weakness to have shortcuts, to be casual, to assume, to presume, where he is too lazy to take the time to participate enough to look into the pros and cons of many things, and where he knows men are lazy, he uses these times, this lack of dignity in man, the weakness, to eliminate respect, and he weaves into an area the chance for misconception, misconstruing, misinterpretation, leaving the door open for himself to enter.
Many times men fall into a trap, walk into the briar patches because they are too lazy, they are indifferent, they are too trusting, they are careless, or they do not want to be bothered with details of protocol that take time, energy, thought, perseverance and responsibility.
Never allow yourself to be caught up in what men are shouting, ‘the spirit’. You are asking for trouble because this is inviting the evil spirit. His spirit is not always prefixed by evil so he immediately answers to ‘the spirit’. Protect yourself in every way possible, and always say, ‘The Holy Spirit’.”
