“The scientific discoveries that have recently become the topic of discussion, bearing proof that so far Earth is the only planet upon which man has been seen, puts a tremendous importance upon Earth and also on the distinct creation called ‘human life’.
With this knowledge man should see that God has a purpose for human beings, and the very fact that man has been given the intellect in such a remarkable degree, proven by the fact that man was allowed the intelligence to go into space, discover many things in the Universe, says man is special and must have an exceptional Reason and Purpose for living. Surely the knowledge that men exist only upon the Earth emphasizes not just a humanistic purpose for man, but definitely emphasizes a further Purpose for man’s total being.
When we speak of the Universe, its vastness is beyond our comprehension. When we speak of man, we innately know that man is many things. In our dealing with man, we find many degrees of intellect, many forms of nature, culture, personality, likes and dislikes, habits. Never do we find two men that are totally alike down to the minutest cell of life. Even twins, who have been born as identical in every way, there is a hidden difference somewhere in the chemistry, or in the texture of some portion of the body.
There can be no doubt that man is a special creation of God, has special purpose for his very existence, and that man, in his very life, holds the Key to another Life, Sainthood.”
