“My children, I am about to tell you a story. I am putting it in this form so you will better understand the meanings of all things concerned.

There is right now a bed of white, and on this bed there is a man. He is very ill. He walked the earth as you do and now he has come to the end of the road.

I, My children, am Saint Joseph, and I tell you the story to make you think, to make you pray, for you see, this could be you one day.

I will visit with this man and I want you to hear what he has to say. He does not know Who I am. I now ask him what advice he would give others who are living on in this day. The man can barely talk, so We will wait awhile as We flash back on his life.

This man was of the world and very much in the world, and very often he ignored the Church, and the way to pray. One day, he was called into a great Church. How? He was ill. And as he stood at the foot of the stairs, he watched the Man of God come forward through the door and greet him, saying, ‘Good morning, son, isn’t it a beautiful day?’ This man refused to answer for he did not feel the beauty of the day, but he could not help himself be drawn to this Man of God Who turned around with a smile on His Face and walked down the aisle. The man found himself following all the way.

As he entered the door, he looked for the Water that was usually there, and as he put his fingertips in, there was only one drop left there for him. He became angry at this and he said, ‘Why did not someone fill this to the brim?’ But what he did not realize at the time, My children, was that he had a great desire to be cleansed.

And then, he watched the Man of God walk down the aisle and walk over to a stand that held the lights that some people think so unworthwhile. The Man of God stood there and then suddenly walked around behind. The man walked up to the stand and found there was no light for him to light, and his anger increased for quite awhile. What he did not realize was this: he desired the cleansing and then he wanted the way to be lighted for him.

And suddenly the Man of God came forward to the foot of the Altar and He knelt there to say His prayers. The man became so hostile for he said, ‘Why would He be so humble and why would He do this in front of me?’ but the Man of God did kneel and pray, and suddenly He lay prostrate across the stairs. It seemed quite awhile, My children, but all the time this man was waiting for something to happen to him, and as he also knelt, he found himself praying for the first time in a long time.

And suddenly the Man of God, He arose and walked over to the man. He knew that the man was screaming to be humble once again. And suddenly the Man of God said, ‘Son, can I offer you a cup of coffee, in your way?’ So the man did agree and he said, ‘Yes. Where do we go?’ So the Man of God brought him back to a little room. The table was small, just room for one; and as the Man of God did pour the coffee, it showed it had been used again and again. So when the man sipped the coffee, he said to himself, ‘I will buy Him some as soon as I leave here.’

But suddenly he said to the Man of God, ‘Why have You been so kind to me? I do not deserve it.’ And the Man of God said, ‘Son, have you not come upon Whom I am?’ He said, ‘You are Jesus,’ and the Man of God said, ‘That is Who I am.’ So the man said, ‘Why do You feel this way toward me?’ and Jesus said, ‘Son, I never let go of your hand. It was you who strayed from Me.’

So now, My children, I, Saint Joseph, take you back to the bed of white, and again I will ask the child who lays here, ready to die, ‘What advice do you have to give to all the children?’ and he says to you, ‘Never let go of His Hand.’

And now, My children, never before have I given a story like this, but there were some in the room here now with this child, who must remember the story Word for Word, Lesson by Lesson, and follow It. Keep in mind at all times the cleansing that you need; and keep in mind, My children, the Light that you need; and keep in mind the importance of humility, and do not forget the gift of charity, and whatever you do, keep in mind to never let go of His Hand.

I bless you with God’s Love and I say, ‘Tonight you must remember, for you were touched by The Divine. Tonight is important to you, for a Great Lesson has come to you; God’s Will, My children, not only Mine.’ So be it.”
