“My sons and My daughters, I am Saint Teresa of Avila, and I come to you on this night to speak direct, because there have been so many Locutions, so far, telling man how to become a Saint, and it has been treated lightly, it has been treated firmly, and it has been treated suggestively. Now I say to you, ‘I do not suggest it, I command it: Be a Saint.’
I walked the earth. I did not have an easy road, and each day that I walked there was a disturbance around, but this is part of the physical life, and as you have these disturbances, ask God to help you on the way, and above all things, My children, pray. And as you walk, keep in mind the Protection of The Beloved Saint Joseph. It is always there for each of you each day.
I walked with His Mantle around me for I could not bear to have Him go away. And as each convent came up and it was directed God’s Way, I would say to this Beloved Saint, ‘You’ve got to follow me another day,’ and He did, My children, every way, every day; and so you, too, must take the Protection of His Mantle and carry It with you each day, for as you do, you will become a Saint one day. So be it.”
