“My children, I hear you speak of prayer. I hear you limit prayer. I say to you with love, ‘I am Saint Joseph and I’ve come to instruct you on the fullness and the meaning of prayer.’
So many children lack the discipline to pray. What they do not realize is that prayers are the way to seek God’s Help, to talk in a special way. If children were without special prayers to say, they’d lack the words, and communication would not be as full with The Father Who is there. There are certain prayers, in a special way, are full of meaning, full of love, full of purpose; and when heard Above, the petition that goes with them alerts God to the child’s love. He always smiles at His children when they pray, for what father doesn’t enjoy recognition from the children he loves? Get a pattern, children, one in which you’ll follow every day, with love and understanding. Make it this way:
First: Begin the day with the Cross, and tell Him then you love Him and do offer Him the day. Then walk to the railing of His Love and receive The Holy Eucharist and look to Him all day.
Second: Set a time for the prayers Our Lady loves to hear, the Rosary of Love to Here. Grow in love with this prayer and it will bring you peace, but it will also give you strength to conquer many things.
Next: Through the day, acts of love in a prayerful way. Beseech The Father to govern everything you say so no unkindness will come from you in another’s way. Every step you take, thank Him for the way, but be sure you ask Him to put you on the path He wants you to be on without delay.
At the end of day, think much of what you did and say. The closing prayer should be in thanks, with a promise that you will try much harder the next day. Don’t look at other men for strength, for remember, they, too, are weak and need strength. So follow through, My little ones, and turn to Me each day for protection in the way of life that you must walk each day.
I leave you with My Blessing, which is The Father’s Power. I raise My Hand to your head to remind you of His Power. I take it to your breast where the Heart of My Son does rest, and now I cross your shoulders and ask The Holy Ghost to bless your life with love for God and with the will to do your most. So be it.”
